Is Jesus simply not worth the risk to many of us? David Sitton’s book Reckless Abandon is a bare-knuckled dare to seize the privilege of working in Christ’s worldwide mission. Sitton will be offering up a challenge in a Google + Hangout Tuesday, April 2 at 7pm Central. The free event is open to the public and hosted by Gospel eBooks and Ambassador International.
Planning on joining us tonight? Here are some suggested actions:
Today:

What is a Google Hangout? It is a live interactive video chat that is broadcasted publicly. To see what a Hangout looks like, you can watch our Hangouts with Ray Comfort and Dr. Jason Lisle.
Next Tuesday, April 2nd at 7pm CT we’d like to invite you to a live on-air Hangout out with us and David Sitton.
Who is David Sitton? Just one week after his 20th birthday, David Sitton left for Papua New Guinea – October 3, 1977. He departed Corpus Christi with a suitcase, a bible, and a surfboard! Several of the early tribes David encountered practiced cannibalism and were entrenched in violent tribal warfare. Over the years Sitton has worked to make disciples and plant churches in remote regions of PNG. Sitton and his wife Tommie founded To Every Tribe Ministries where he currently serves as president. In January, 2006 they founded their second ministry, The Center for Pioneer Church Planting which is dedicated to recruiting, training and launching pioneer church planters into the far-flung regions where Christ is still unknown. Sitton’s latest book is Reckless Abandon: A Gospel Pioneer’s Exploits Among the Most Difficult to Reach Peoples.

What is a Google Hangout? It is a live video chat that is broadcasted publicly. Up to ten people can participate by webcam, but anyone can watch and comment live. To see what a Hangout looks like, you can watch our first one with Ray Comfort here.
This coming Tuesday, Jan 15th at 7pm CT we’d like to invite you to a live on-air Hangout out with us and Dr. Jason Lisle.
Who is Jason Lisle? He is the Director of Research and a featured speaker and writer for the Institute for Creation Research. He holds bachelor of science degrees in physics and astronomy from Ohio Wesleyan University, as well as a master’s and PhD in Astro-physics from the University of Colorado. As a creation scientist Dr. Lisle effectively communicates a broad range of topics from in-depth presentations of distant starlight, Einstein’s relativity, and problems with the big bang to topics from astronomy and general science to apologetics and dinosaurs. Dr. Lisle has authored a number of books which include: Taking Back Astronomy, Discerning Truth, Old-Earth Creationism on Trial, and The Ultimate Proof of Creation.
Live Q & A
Not only will you have the opportunity to learn from Dr. Lisle, but he’ll be taking some of your questions too. We’ll be taking questions live from the chat during the Hangout as well as allowing a few of you to join us by webcam to ask Dr. Lisle your question in person. More details on that will come later.
