An ancient relic, a puzzling prophecy, and a young woman tied together through the ages . . .

Throughout history, blood moons have always been surrounded by persecution and provision, great trials and triumphs. The blood moons of 1493-1494 provided a new world for the Jewish people. In 1949-1950, the blood moons gave them Israel, and the following eclipses presented the Jewish people Jerusalem in 1967-1968. Now a new set of blood moons is on the horizon, and Tassie’s family is certain they will bring about great change.

Tassie, named for a lost religious relic, has her sights set on her career and love, and she doesn’t have time for silly children’s stories. Dismissing the blood moons as circumstance, her unbelief threatens to keep her from her destiny. When Tassie finds herself in the center of worldwide turmoil and a terrorist plot, can she accept her family history and fulfill her place in the future of Israel? Or will the country of her heritage finally fall to its many enemies?

Blood Moon Redemption is an end-times thriller that will keep you riveted until the very last moonrise.

“Kansas City Center—Comanche eight-five-four-six-papa—we have an emergency.” With these words, David F. Osborne alerted air traffic controllers his plane and passengers were in serious danger. What began as a normal business trip home from North Dakota turned, without warning, from tranquility to turmoil.

In the darkness of night, the once-powerful, single engine, Piper Comanche 260 airplane began experiencing catastrophic engine failure. Within seconds, the previously well-tuned aircraft was shaking violently putting the plane in a rapid descent while the cockpit was quickly filling with thick smoke. With an emergency crash landing now imminent, the gripping realization that the pilot and his passengers faced almost certain death had become undeniable reality.

Five Minutes to Impact is a true story of overcoming fear in the face of unexpected crisis, understanding the providence of God in the dealings of man, and renewing our faith in His divine plan for our lives.

When children are sold into slavery—what good is Jesus? When wretched disease takes a loved one’s life—what good is Jesus? When marriages crumble and jobs disappoint—what good is Jesus? Faced with declining opportunities, a war-torn globe, and seemingly-insurmountable crises, more and more disillusioned young people are sincerely asking—what good is Jesus? How do we even begin to answer? Do we begin with Scripture, our own experience of faith, or something else? In What Good is Jesus, Pastor Marv Nelson doesn’t avoid tough questions and criticism, he tackles issues with love and wisdom. Examining sexuality, politics, racial tensions, suffering, and more, Nelson addresses these problems through a relational rather than religious approach.

Paul told the Romans “the Law is holy and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.” Yet four times in three epistles he wrote, “We are not under law but under grace.” Christians read these seemingly conflicting statements and are easily confused. They wonder if anyone can understand how the law and the Old Testament relates to their faith.

Some take the easy way out and all but ignore the Old Testament calling it legalism. They prefer to concentrate on and enjoy the magnificent grace of God that comes with salvation. This limits their understanding of the Scriptures and indeed, restricts spiritual growth. Confusion further abounds because just about every denomination has a different interpretation of the law and the relationship between the testaments.

Lester Stephenson proposes a different approach rooted in Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:17-18, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” Those two verses call for Christians to look anew at the law and the rest of the Old Testament. Not one part of the law or what the prophets wrote will pass away until Jesus has completely fulfilled it. Stephenson stresses that Christians must recognize the importance of the Bible that Jesus and the apostles used. Each time Jesus and the apostles used the phrase, “it is written” they were using an Old Testament passage to illustrate a New Testament principle.

In A Biblicist View of Law and Gospel, Stephenson advocates a biblicist view based on careful Bible study to explain how Christians are to view the law and the way the testaments fit together as an inspired whole.

James asks a pointed question in his brief book in the Bible when he simply says, “What is your life?” He then answers his own question by stating, “It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” Psalm 90 reminds us that “the days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years.” That’s somewhere between 36,792,000 and 42,048,000 minutes, both very large numbers. The question for us then becomes, what are we doing with our minutes? Are we making them matter in ways that count? Are we spending them in ways that will lay up treasure in heaven, or here on earth where “moth and rust will destroy”?

Minutes Matter . . . Making Every Beat Count will challenge you to live your days in a way that will glorify God and make a difference well beyond your years here on earth.

Dating in modern times can be confusing and seem more complicated than ever. How do you date and get close to someone while keeping God first? When meeting someone new, there are many questions and scenarios to be thought about. Should he pursue first? How often should you spend time together? When should you start attending church as a couple? Should you serve in the same area? When into the relationship should you hold hands or kiss? What do social media boundaries look like?

While these specific questions are not directly answered in the Bible, it is comforting to know six couples who kept God first in the relationship and yet each had different answers to these questions and more.

Waiting While Dating interviews six Christian couples who had different backgrounds and situations, some had been previously married and some had not. The couples span from meeting in their twenties, to thirties and forties.
