Price: $2.99 (Feb 19-20)
This book grew out of Dr. John Luke Terveen’s own experience with grief and loss resulting from his fourteen-year-old daughter’s death. he scoured books looking for comfort but found the Bible itself to be his greates source of hope, comfort, wise counsel, and encouragement.
After reviewing more than 200 books on grief and loss, he discovered that none investigated biblical passages discussing grief and loss. He set out to fill the huge, unmet need for a book that helps Christians embrace relevant Scriptures more fully and seriously in the midst of their mourning.
The biblical selections deal with the hard questions, honest passions, and divine hope that only one who has walked down the path of sorrow could write about. Topics such as resurrection, the second coming, heaven, the resurrection body, doubt, anger, guilt, and dashed dreams are covered with great care to minister to the hearts of those who are grieving.

Author(s): J. Warner Wallace
Publisher: David C. Cook
Price: FREE (Feb 15-22)
“If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins” (1 Cor. 15:17).
The resurrection. As far as doctrines go, it’s a game changer. Many accept the resurrection without giving it much thought. But isn’t something so important worthy of our wrestling with it? What if we approached the issue of the resurrection in an unbiased manner and assessed it as a cold case detective would evaluate a crime scene? Author J. Warner Wallace is a cold-case detective. He also used to be an atheist. Follow along in this brief presentation of his approach in applying his detective’s expertise to the accounts of the resurrection. Wallace believes the case is nothing but compelling: Jesus is alive!
—
J. Warner Wallace is a cold case homicide detective, a missions leader, and a church planter. As a result of his work on cold cases, Wallace has been featured on numerous television programs including Dateline, FOX News, and Court TV. Wallace’s visual presentations in the courtroom have revolutionized how capital offense trials are presented in Los Angeles County and across the country. A vocal atheist for many years, Wallace is now an apologist for Christianity and the founder of the ColdCaseChristianity.com Blog, Podcast, and Website. He has a master’s degree in theological studies. He and his wife have four children and live in southern California.

“How do we navigate the moments of life with wisdom beyond our years and face the temptations of our hearts with courage and resolve? In The Truth about Lies, Tim leads us into a new place, setting a new framework for how to live and how to live well. If you’re ready to take the journey, I can’t think of a better guide.”
John Mark Comer, pastor of teaching and vision for Bridgetown: A Jesus Church, and author of Loveology
Temptation isn’t merely about winning or losing a battle.
It’s about discovering who you truly are.
And what matters most.
On a daily basis, we are all tempted to enjoy the gifts of this world while making the Giver optional or irrelevant in our quest for life. But what if, in God’s purposes, temptation is not merely an obstacle to overcome but an opportunity to flourish in faith?
Living in the truth exposes lies and turns moments of temptation into character-shaping opportunities, powerfully displaying our true identity as followers of Jesus.
