Don’t try to do it all. Do more good. Better.

I am no productivity guru. I am a writer, a church leader, a husband, and a father—a Christian with a lot of responsibilities and with new tasks coming at me all the time.

I wrote this short, fast-paced, practical guide to productivity to share what I have learned about getting things done in today’s digital world. Whether you are a student or a professional, a work-from-home dad or a stay-at-home mom, it will help you learn to structure your life to do the most good to the glory of God.

In Do More Better, you will learn:
* Common obstacles to productivity
* The great purpose behind productivity
* 3 essential tools for getting things done
* The power of daily and weekly routines
* And much more, including bonus material on taming your email and embracing the inevitable messiness of productivity.

It really is possible to live a calm and orderly life, sure of your responsibilities and confident in your progress.

People with Bibles don’t always know how to use them. They may be good at absorbing and repeating material from sermons, commentaries, and blogs, but they miss the fullness and joy that comes from studying the Bible for themselves. The power to change the world is available, but it goes untapped.

Though study aids are helpful, imagine if your primary ministry curriculum was Scripture itself. You could study the Bible, teach people how to study it themselves, and expect those folks to lead their own Bible studies with their neighbors, coworkers, and friends. Each year, you’d see an increasing number of men and women wield the sword of the Spirit, piercing hearts and drawing the lost to Jesus.

Ordinary people can learn to study the Bible. These people may not have been to seminary. They don’t have much free time. But they love Jesus and want to be more like him. They want to know him.

The gospel of Christ is the gospel of life, and the Christian’s defining reality. Yet the shedding of innocent blood, primarily through abortion, has now marked an entire generation.
Innocent Blood explores a series of questions so as to reveal vital connections between the gospel and the call to defend the unborn. These questions include:
-What does the Bible mean when it says that “life is in the blood”?
-What does the Bible say about blood-guilt? How is it that we are all stained by it and accountable for it even though few of us have taken a human life?
-What remedy does God provide for the guilt of shedding innocent blood?
-What are we to do when confronted with the shedding of innocent blood, and where does our courage to take action come from?
-What is the link between protecting the innocent and proclaiming good news to the guilty?

Not a book on social issues per se, nor a book on missions, Innocent Blood integrates the two and calls us to courageously challenge the powers of death with the gospel of life.
