JoHannah Reardon loves to write “Jane Austin” type of romances in contemporary settings. For example, the pastor’s personality in this story is similar to Mr. Darcy’ personality in Pride and Prejudice. Just as Darcy seems one way at the beginning of the book and quite another way at the end, so does the pastor in this story. So, at the start he may not be everyone’s idea of a romantic lead, but by the end he proves himself truly loving.
