Henry More had an odd idea. Thinking about space, he realized it was invisible, for we see things in space but not space itself. It’s also immaterial, for matter exists in space but space is not itself material–try to grab it and it slips through your fingers. Space was also infinite and transcendent yet nonetheless omnipresent, for we cannot go anywhere except in and through space. But this was exactly how More saw God; God is invisible, immaterial, infinite, and transcendent, yet also omnipresent above, beyond, and within us. If God was somehow linked to space, he could be truly present while remaining immaterial, upholding the creator-creature distinction. He’d be near to us but would not be identical with us, just as space is distinct from the objects occupying it while remaining intimately close to those objects. What if space was, in some sense, divine?

Odder still, Newton soon erected his new physics upon More’s idea. Indeed, there’s real evidence that the modern scientific world was unwittingly grounded upon this theistic metaphysic. Of course, modern physics shed these underpinnings in the nineteenth century, and was itself relativized by Einstein in the twentieth. Yet this book seeks to reappraise More’s odd idea. Is divine space theologically orthodox? Can it provide a new argument for the existence of God? And does it have any philosophical merit for us post-Einstein–a Space God for a Space Age?

The Artist as Divine SymbolThe Artist as Divine Symbol
Author(s): Adam Edward Carnehl

In critical yet appreciative dialogue with four different art critics who demonstrated theological sensitivities, Adam Edward Carnehl traces an ongoing religious conversation that ran through nineteenth-century aesthetics. In Carnehl’s estimation, this critical conversation between John Ruskin, Walter Pater, and Oscar Wilde, culminated in the brilliant approach of G. K. Chesterton, who began his journalistic career with a series of insightful works of art criticism. By conducting a close reading of these largely neglected works, Carnehl demonstrates that Chesterton developed a theological aesthetic that focuses on the revelation of God’s image in every human being. In Chesterton’s eyes, only those made in God’s image can produce images themselves, and only those who receive a revelation of truth are able to reveal truths for others. Art is therefore a rich and symbolic unveiling of the truth of humanity which finds its origin and purpose in God the Divine Artist.

Who is Israel?

Author(s): Virgil A. Walker
Price: $2.99

Buy Now!

Who is the true Israel? For centuries, the Christian Church has answered this question with a resounding affirmation: the Church, as the body of believers in Jesus Christ, is the True Israel, inheriting the covenant promises of the Old Testament. Yet, in the modern era, this historic understanding has been challenged by dispensationalism, a theology that separates Israel and the Church, fueling political agendas and reshaping evangelical thought. Who is Israel?: A Historic Reflection of Church History offers a compelling, biblically grounded case for reclaiming the Church as the True Israel, urging Christians to reject the distortions of dispensationalism and embrace their covenant identity.

In this concise yet powerful exploration, the book traces the identity of Israel from its Old Testament roots to its fulfillment in the Church. Chapter 1 examines the multifaceted meaning of Israel in the Hebrew Scriptures, revealing a covenant community defined by faith, not merely ethnicity or geography. Chapter 2 explores how Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection redefined Israel as a universal body of believers, open to all nations. Chapter 3 delves into the early church’s consensus, with figures like Augustine and Origen affirming the Church as the heir of God’s promises. Chapter 4 traces this theology through the medieval period and Reformation, highlighting the continuity of covenant theology. Finally, Chapter 5 confronts the rise of dispensationalism under John Nelson Darby, exposing its impact on evangelicalism through the Scofield Reference Bible and Christian Zionism, and critiquing its departure from historic Christian teaching.

With clarity and conviction, Who is Israel? argues that dispensationalism is a theological error that robs Christians of their true identity as God’s covenant people. By separating Israel and the Church, it undermines the unity of God’s redemptive plan and aligns faith with modern geopolitics, particularly through support for the state of Israel. This book calls believers to return to the historic roots of covenant theology, embracing the Church as the True Israel—a community united in Christ, called to reflect God’s glory to the world.

Perfect for pastors, theology students, and lay Christians seeking to understand their faith’s roots, this book combines scholarly insight with accessible prose. It challenges readers to reconsider popular evangelical assumptions, fostering unity in the Church and encouraging respectful Jewish-Christian dialogue. Whether you’re exploring biblical theology, church history, or the intersection of faith and politics, Who is Israel? offers a timely and transformative perspective.

Join the journey to reclaim the Church’s biblical identity. Discover why the True Israel is not a secular state but the universal body of Christ, and let this truth inspire your faith and mission in today’s world.

The Cultural Downgrade and the Path to Renewal

Western civilization is not collapsing by accident. It is being dismantled slowly, deliberately, and systematically.
In The Cultural Downgrade and the Path to Renewal, Virgil A. Walker delivers a powerful diagnosis of the spiritual, educational, and philosophical decay hollowing out the modern West. From declining literacy and screen addiction to the abandonment of classical education and moral formation, this book exposes how a culture rich in stories, meaning, and virtue has been replaced by distraction, manipulation, and intellectual shallowness.
Drawing from history, philosophy, theology, and the rapidly growing classical-Christian education movement, Walker traces the roots of the crisis from the rejection of objective truth to the dominance of materialism, corporate technocracy, and algorithm-driven culture. But this is not merely a cultural critique.

What if a fascinating stranger knew you better than you know yourself?

When her husband comes home with a farfetched story about eating dinner with someone he believes to be Jesus, Mattie Cominsky thinks this may signal the end of her shaky marriage. Convinced that Nick is, at best, turning into a religious nut, the self-described agnostic hopes that a quick business trip will give her time to think things through.

On board the plane, Mattie strikes up a conversation with a fellow passenger. When she discovers their shared scorn for religion, she confides her frustration over her husband’s recent conversion. The stranger suggests that perhaps her husband isn’t seeking religion but true spiritual connection, an idea that prompts her to reflect on her own search for fulfillment.

As their conversation turns to issues of spiritual longing and deeper questions about the nature of God, Mattie finds herself increasingly drawn to this insightful stranger. But when the discussion unexpectedly turns personal, touching on things she’s never told anyone, Mattie is startled and disturbed. Who is this man who seems to peer straight into her soul?
